I guess the wet logs reduce blade heating and wood burning.
NS proud
Did Maud really have a daughter?
Thanks this was fun to watch. With every pass of the saw you could hear a tree-hugger scream.
What a fascinating accent. I imagine I can hear lots of Irish and maybe English west country influences. I wonder if that's correct.
Looks sweet,sounds awesome.love turbos
Gordon are you familiar with horn breezes. In New York State ? Have you hitched 14, 12, or Six in a yokes
All she could think of was Chris? Lol
great playing
I love the Cape Breton style ❤
I hope justice prevails for Fred.
What do you get when you mix the African banjo, the Irish fiddle, the Spanish guitar and the French mandolin; pour in a hefty jug of corn whisky and simmer it in mountain sunshine of Appalachia? Bluegrass.
Out of this world fantastically beautiful!
For yall wondering why sometimes the people get emotional or cry, it's because of the severe shock and rush of thoughts and it makes you tear up so quickly, because in that moment you're thinking: BOWS COST SO MUCH. THIS WASN'T MY BOW, THAT WAS SO SUDDEN, WHO'S FAULT WAS IT WAS IT MINE NO I DON'T WANT IT DO BE MINE" And like a mix of all those thoughts gushing into your mind it's crazy
I was trying to remember this song. I just mention it at work the other day. Then a few days later in my kitchen listening to seaside fm in nova scotia and they played it. I got up and turned it up right loud. My daughter and granddaughter didn't know what I was doing. Then the😅y were like a childhood memory. Yup. The best years.
what a super player she is great full of music and knowledge of how to play wonderful
What’s the location ?
How sad for Fred. All those greedy people should have to give all that back to Fred. There has to be a lawyer who can help.
Thank you for this.
Could watch this for hours in finest detail . . Greetings from Australia & thankyou . .
This is so sad and so perverted. Shame on AGNS. Long live Maud and her naive love
Good to see the old mill running, sad to see the waste though--- you get your logs too cheap- or else you would be slabbing lighter!
Is that Bill Nye's son on the bodhran?
Maud Lewis shared so much with the late artist Bettina Huggino. their art was their escape from a rough and tumble world. Bettina left us paintings so incandescent they outshone the sun!
Wow what a horrible people. Give everything to Fred,!!!
I thought only Brazil was inhabited by scoundrels... apparently we are not alone
Leave the poor old guy alone , he's no worse than the president, and oxen do kinda look like horses
Thank you so much.
somthing about the peculiar celtic sound when it comes to music
Beautiful video
last Part was pure ball mission Y that
Ok the last part was too much no one ever feel That (way)
Imitated Elvis
If she’s knew her daughter was alive she would of definitely left her daughter more then we could imagine. I hope who ever owns Maudies paintings and money they would give her daughter the ownership of Maudies blessings.
His the son they (Maud and Everett) never had.😭
Another quiet injustice! So sad!
Fantastic. I love seeing how we evolved our tech. If you will,, a green energy mill :)
I wonder if any old wooden examples of this type still exist there.
Wait till the lights go out in America, This will be worth it's weight in gold 😘🏴
rip bow hair
Someone needs to make a "Chris" meme out of this :)
It went Viral Chris!!!! Hahaha! Hope you're well brutha. Aroha from New Zealand.
I just finished watching the movie. Such a great film. Great pair they were. This rightfully belongs to to Fred. I hope that someone will take on Fred’s case and he gets what Maud and Everette left him. It is rightfully his. It’s unbelievable and evil how greedy these horrible people are. Rest in eternal peace Maude and Everette Lewis
I think this is the height of technology, not reliant on the powsr grid or external fuel sources, you could have a hydroelectric setup there too for the lights 100 percent off grid, i think this was the pinnacle of engineering and since this we lost some straightforward knowledge that will be lost next few generarions, ask the next generarion to build a fully working factory with no electric or computers, lol.
Would have loved to have met her
She runs realize! I worked on 1 of these for 6 lobster season great boat to work on.whats in this 1 for an engine? The 1 I was in had a Cat 300 and something HP can't remember right now she would cut Long 18 or 19 knots great boat all around
Mind blowingly amazing.....and I need to practice more. Ace.
One huge issue here. Her name is Maud. Not the typical spelling. And at 7:56 she signed it "Maude". Why has no one picked up on this? And SO MANY documents. This man (and possibly others) tried very hard to prove the documentation of the rights/money to the "estate".
Hmm that’s interesting. Do you think all the documents are forged? I would hope he has a case for this because it seems it’s what Maud wanted no? Perhaps she chose to spell it differently at times as Maude?
Excellent playing whats the name of the tune e I have never heard it before
❤❤❤❤
